Arcade Atlas is a comprehensive collection of 385 retro game sound effects spanning 55 categories — from classic coin pickups and jump arcs to FM-driven sword clashes, SID-style arpeggios, and muffled depth charges. Every sound is built from authentic chip-era synthesis: pulse waves with variable duty cycles, triangle and sawtooth oscillators, LFSR noise, and oldskool two-operator FM. No samples, no recordings — just raw waveforms shaped through bitcrushing, sample-and-hold decimation, and ADSR envelopes for that unmistakable 4-bit to 8-bit arcade ROM character. The pack covers 10 thematic groups designed to soundtrack an entire retro game from title screen to final boss: Arcade Core (74 sounds) — Jumps, coins, lasers, explosions, power-ups, hurt hits, menu selects, game over stings, extra life jingles, and footstep ticks. The essentials for any platformer, shooter, or arcade-style project. Combat (35 sounds) — Punchy FM impacts, deep kicks, guard blocks, weapon swooshes, energy-charged special moves, and inharmonic metallic sword clashes. UI / Menu (50 sounds) — Hover blips, cancel tones, error buzzes, confirm pings, notification chimes, dialog advance blips, and typewriter clicks. A complete set for menus, HUDs, and text crawls. Jingles (41 sounds) — Victory fanfares, lose-life descents, tritone boss warnings, puzzle-solved stingers, mysterious secret-found arps, and checkpoint chimes. Short musical phrases ready to drop into any game event. Arpeggios (29 sounds) — Ascending, descending, and bouncing chiptune arps plus C64 SID-style rapid-fire patterns. Ideal as transitions, collectible feedback, or layering elements. Magic / Spells (43 sounds) — Shimmering heals, crackling fire spells, crystalline ice casts, snappy electric zaps, warm enchantments, and dissonant debuff curses. Environment (52 sounds) — Creaking doors, pixel footsteps, water splashes, rising bubbles, crate smashes, lever/switch toggles, and treasure chimes. Everything needed to bring a game world to life. Vehicles (31 sounds) — Engine revs, humming hovercrafts, rocket thrusters, squealing tires, and crunchy collisions. From retro racers to side-scrolling shoot-em-ups. Creatures (16 sounds) — Screeching and chattering alien/monster vocalizations built from FM synthesis and rapid pitch modulation. Submarine (14 sounds) — Echoing sonar pings and muffled underwater depth charges for naval or deep-sea themed levels. All files are delivered as mono 48 kHz / 24-bit and 44.1kHz / 16-bit WAV — broadcast-ready and easy to integrate into any engine or DAW. Multiple variations per category ensure you won't hear the same sound twice in your project.
