“Fantasy RPG Music Vol. I: Midnight Magicks” is a whimsical and mysterious music asset pack designed to immerse players in the enchanting world of a Fantasy RPG. Set within the abandoned Mage College of Runekeep—a realm shimmering with magickally charged crystals, cantankerous critters, and long-forgotten secrets—this collection features 10 original tracks crafted to breathe life into your game's environments, characters, and pivotal moments.

Each piece uses musical storytelling through motifs and leitmotifs, supported by a magickal orchestration of woodwinds, strings, harps, idiophones (such as glockenspiel, celeste, xylophone, and bowed vibraphone), and light percussion to create a rich, cohesive fantasy atmosphere. The result is a sound that sparkles with wonder while hinting at the deeper mysteries beneath.

• A dynamic battle theme that balances tension and whimsy—great for fast-paced but lighthearted encounters.

6. Dewdrop Dreams (Event Theme)

• Soft, dreamy, and magickal—perfect for moments of rest, recovery, or introspection. Great for shops, inns, or quiet narrative sequences.

7. Glistening Gardens (Explore Theme)

• Evokes serene beauty and hidden enchantment—ideal for tranquil exploration sequences with a touch of wonder.

8. Critter Cavern (Dungeon Theme)

• Dynamic and tense with a quirky edge—this track drives home the unpredictable nature of dungeon exploration. Ideal for sub-areas filled with strange creatures and chaotic encounters.

9. Whispers in the Wisps (Explore Theme)

• Haunting yet whimsical, this track explores the eerier corners of Runekeep. Mysterious, unsettling, and perfect for more antagonist-focused exploration inside the college grounds.

10. Magickal Might (Battle Theme)

• Menacing and mysterious, this battle theme marks a turning point—your first confrontation with the antagonist. Built from evolved motifs, it captures the power and threat of the story’s darker forces.

Whether you're scoring an emotional cutscene, a magickal exploration, or a whimsical battle, Midnight Magicks offers a versatile and immersive foundation for any fantasy project.

I mainly drew inspiration from some of my favorite composers, their games, and the emotional storytelling techniques & immersive soundscapes they crafted. I have a love for all things magickal, whimsical, light-hearted, and mysterious, so putting it all together was an incredibly fun & fulfilling experience.
