Algernon Van Peel is a and sound designer based in Edinburgh, Scotland, specializing in music and sound design for video games. After graduating from Silliman University with a degree in Composition, he studied Music Production at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (Belgium) and completed a Master’s Degree in Professional Media Composition with Thinkspace Education (University of Chichester). He also trained under Vikram Gudi (Elephant Music) through the Protégé School programme. Having lived and worked across Europe and Asia, Algernon brings a broad musical perspective to his work, with a focus on: • Ambient & atmospheric game music • Cozy and exploration-focused soundscapes • Organic and minimalist sound design for indie games His game credits include Viva Project and MyRobot. All assets are created with gameplay immersion in mind — designed to loop cleanly, sit well under sound effects, and support long play sessions.
